- "The most distinctive characteristic shared by all Disciples of Khaine is the unique coloration of their eyes. Without exception, all members of this sect possess eyes the color of brass. In the early years, after the inception of the cult of Khaine, all of its members were male. Since the beginning of the Age of Reckoning, Disciples of both genders have become a common sight wherever the Witch King's servants are found."
Overview
The devotees of this unique cult can trace their origins to the Dark Elf city of Clar Karond. According to legend, the Noble houses of this decadent city would offer members of their own families to the blood-slicked alters of Khaine in hopes of garnering their war god's favor before setting out to sea on raids. Some of these would-be victims were set aside to learn the arts of assassination, while others were singled out for enigmatic purposes known only to the Hag Queens of the Witch Elf temples.
The powers utilized by Disciples of Khaine function on a principle of "balance," skewed to an extreme that only the twisted mind of a Dark Elf can appreciate. Each death caused and each wound inflicted is done in supplication to Khaine, the Dark Elf God of Murder. Should the Disciple wish enhanced strength, alacrity, or endurance, his god must be bartered with. To the dismay of the Disciple's victims, the only payment Khaine has ever been known to accept is suffering and death.

Soul Essence: Every Disciple of Khaine starts with a Soul Essence pool. This pool has a maximum size of 250. Whenever you cast a healing spell which uses Soul Essence the amount of Soul Essence available is reduced. Soul Essence is regained by expending action points, normally for an equal return of Soul Essence. So if you use an offensive ability that requires 25 Action Points, it returns 25 Soul Essence to your pool.
Covenants: These operate as an always-on aura. After death you will need to make sure you that turn them back on. Each Covenant offers different benefits to yourself and your group.
Strategies
How To Play
As a combat healer, you need to personally strike opponents to regain Soul Essence used for healing. Using Lacerate on an opponent cripples them with damage over time. Since they are now crippled, Cleave Soul will deal Spirit damage instead of normal damage, and Flay will snare your target. If attacking a caster, use Consume thought to silence them. Soul Infusion heals over time that can be quickly applied to anyone in need. Khaine’s Embrace can be cast fairly quickly and will heal everyone in your group. Rend Soul is an offensive ability that will heal allies based on the damage dealt. Terrifying Vision will reduce the damage you take from a single opponent, but will end early if you strike them. When needing to fall back, use Flee.
