- "The humans have a seemingly endless source of men to fight, with more arriving every day. It is a battle that could have far-reaching implications for us Dwarfs. With any luck they'll continue to hold off the Chaos and prevent them from encroaching our flanks."

Nordenwatch Overview
From each spawn location, players will be presented with the options of trying to capture a location nearby, head further into the island to take the Fortress, or cut left/right to take a shot at the enemy right away. The Barracks and Lighthouse can be approached from multiple angles, but the Fortress can only be approached along three paths. For those that prefer to avoid direct conflict right away, there are several back-route paths that let you move discreetly around the map without venturing into the open areas between the capture locations.
On August 24th, 2008, during Warhammer Online Preview Weekend, a bug was found in the Nordenwatch scenario causing scenarios to crash. Mythic stated that until patched, Nordenwatch would be replaced in the Empire vs Chaos Tier 1 zones with Gates of Ekrund. Both Greenskin vs. Dwarf and Empire vs. Chaos will play the Gates of Ekrund scenario. (US Herald)
As of September 18th, 2008, Nordenwatch is available to play.
Nordenwatch Strategy
A team's best bet for winning this Scenario is to focus on capturing two locations and holding them. You'll need to split your forces to mount a strong defense at each location, but expect one of them to soon be overwhelmed by the enemy hungry to capture as second locale. Unless you are specifically guarding an area, expect to always be on the move reinforcing weakened positions or attacking vulnerable locations. Oh, and one last thing: the Fortress is the furthest capture point from the spawn locations, it is a good one to take early and hold on to, but expect some massive battles to take place up there!
Each capture point gives two points per 'tick' during the scenario. Fifteen points are given for the initial capture of the Lighthouse and the Barracks, thirty points are given to the first team to capture the fort. Five points are awarded each time a member of opposing warband is killed.
If you have a tank, healer, and a dps class, consider sending them to the point closest to the opposing team's spawn when the game starts. Even a very short delay in capturing the point and moving on to the fort can give you team enough time to assemble at the fort and capture it.
When the enemy is capturing a point you can freeze the capture timer by moving into the capture zone around the flag. If you can survive long enough this can allow the rest of your team to arrive and prevent the capture. However, if you are killed fast enough the only thing you will have accomplished is removing one more player from your side's attempt to secure the point. Use your own judgement, tanks can usually avoid dying long enough for this strategy to be worthwhile, ranged dps can't.
